January’s DIY kilim is our proposal for all the craft and hand weaving lovers!

In 2023 go for a weaving adventure with us! We prepared one DIY pattern for each month of 2023 year; the pattern comes with the set of yarns you need to weave it. Our January’s proposal is Snowy house. It’s the best option for you if you already have your own loom and just need some inspiration and yarns. Difficulty level: easy. It’s a great pattern even for the beginners.
The set includes:
– 5 balls of woolen light worsted weaving yarn (each ball is 50g / 1.75oz)
– cotton warp (100g / 3.5oz),
– wooden stick for hanging a weaving (22 cm / 8.7in),
– a print of the pattern in 21×21 cm size with few tips for weaving
– pdf file with digital version of the pattern if you need a larger print
The set includes yarns colors no 608, 605, 609, 714, raw natural white wool and a natural cotton warp thread.
For weaving our January’s Snowy house you can use the wefts from our proposal or you can choose your own colors.
If you want to have other yarn colors, just enter your chosen color numbers and the type of warp as a comment to your order.
The woolen yarn is recycled from the industrial production of rugs. Each yarn ball usually comes in one unbroken string but sometimes there can be on or two knots. Each yarn ball usually comes in one unbroken string but sometimes there can be on or two knots.
100 grams of yarn is approximately 140 meters (460′).
The weight of balls can differ slightly (+/- 2g).
