A skein of woolen weaving yarn in grey color weighing 50 g. The 50g ball of woolen weaving yarn. It’s 100% wool and recycled from the industrial production of rugs. A material that is waste from industrial production can be a great and ecological raw material in handicrafts. Our woolen weaving yarn is ideal for weaving wall hangings, carpets, rugs, kilims, tapestries, tufting, punch needle and other handicraft techniques. It is a typical worsted weight tapestry wool, so it is characterized by quite high stiffness and roughness, which gives textile products strength and stability.
We don’t recommend it for making clothing products, e.g. sweaters or socks.

Wool is a natural health-friendly material, friendly to humans and working with it is extremely pleasant. Works made from our wool yarn will certainly retain their beautiful and noble character for a long time. Wool has anti-static properties, so it repels dust and dirt particles, so products made from it are not dusty and do not accumulate dirt. Since the yarn is dyed with synthetic dyes, it does not lose its color over time.

Products made of our woolen weaving yarn (such as carpets or wall hangings) can be gently vacuumed. In case of dirt, you can try to remove the stain by rubbing with a damp cloth. Do not soak or wash products in water, as this can cause shrinkage or deformation. Stubborn stains can be removed safely only by dry cleaning.

We try to make each skein a continuous thread, but since the yarn is made from production scraps, there may be knots in the middle of each skein.
